May 22-23, 2025, Zunyi, Guizhou—The "Innovative Technology Exchange Conference on High-Value Utilization of Phosphogypsum & 2025 Hanfeng Strategic Upgrade Release Event," hosted by Zunyi Hanfeng Decoration Materials Co., Ltd., was grandly held at the Zunyi Zunshang International Hotel. With the theme "Technological Innovation Drives a Green Future," the conference brought together 24 representatives from 13 leading industry enterprises, the Hu'nan Environmental Protection Science Research Institute, and the National Engineering Research Center of Changsha University of Science and Technology to discuss breakthroughs in phosphogypsum utilization technologies and industrial upgrade strategies.

On the afternoon of May 22, attendees arrived at Zunyi High-Speed Railway Station, where they were greeted by the host organization and assisted with check-in and accommodation. At 9:00 AM on May 23, the event officially commenced. In his opening speech, Feng Xinchao, Chairman of Zunyi Hanfeng, stated: "We firmly believe that only through open collaboration and shared benefits can phosphogypsum truly transition from an 'environmental burden' to a 'green asset.'"

Ge Bin, Deputy Director of the National High-Tech Zone Management Committee of Zunyi City, emphasized the government’s commitment to optimizing policy frameworks to support enterprises in transforming phosphogypsum from "solid waste" into a "resource," thereby advancing the goal of building "zero-waste cities."

                                      Technological Breakthroughs and Industry-Academia Synergy
 
Professor Chen Qianlin, Dean of the Advanced Technology Research Institute at Guizhou University, delivered a keynote speech titled "Green Utilization of Phosphogypsum." He systematically analyzed the challenges of phosphogypsum stockpiling, introduced green preparation technologies for phosphogypsum powder, and highlighted successful applications of anhydrous/mixed-phase gypsum. He also proposed the ​"Dihydrate/Anhydrous Wet-Process Phosphoric Acid Co-Production Technology," which converts byproduct gypsum into anhydrous gypsum ore without external heat sources. This innovation achieves higher fluorine overflow rates, enhanced phosphorus recovery, reduced residual phosphorus/fluorine content, superior product stability, and significantly lowers energy consumption and production costs compared to traditional methods.

Chen Zhengqiang, Senior Technical Director of Zunyi Hanfeng, unveiled the ​"Non-Calcined Phosphogypsum-Based Non-Residential Building Materials Technology," detailing the company’s fully automated semi-dry process for continuous phosphogypsum block production. He emphasized the extension of this technology to non-residential building materials under China’s "Quality Housing" policy framework, marking another milestone in high-value phosphogypsum utilization. Additionally, Sales Vice President Feng Yun presented "Breakthroughs in Semi-Dry Process Equipment: Revolutionizing the Phosphogypsum Building Materials Industry," showcasing how Hanfeng’s proprietary equipment achieves over 99.8% phosphogypsum incorporation rates, offering cost-effective solutions for the industry.

Participants visited Zunyi Hanfeng’s production facility to observe the semi-dry process equipment in operation. The fully automated and continuous production line boasts an annual phosphogypsum processing capacity of 120,000 tons, with products meeting industry-leading standards in fracture load and compressive strength.

At 2:00 PM, Cai Peichen, Founder of Shanghai Minimalist Growth Management Consulting Co., Ltd., deliver an impassioned speech titled ​"Strategic Upgrade and Collaborative Development." Using the case of partner company YouleBang, he underscored the importance of integrating ​"technological iteration+policy alignment+solution synergy" to drive industry trends.
